Superintendent Jarrod Bitter had the privilege of speaking at the Panola County Retired School Employees Association meeting today. He shared a message about his vision and priorities for Carthage ISD, as well as updates about TEA Accountability and recent district improvements.

Carthage ISD Transportation is preparing for the first day of school tomorrow (Wednesday, Aug. 10). We ask for your patience as our bus drivers and campus staff work through pick up and drop off processes for the next few days.
As a reminder, please be cautious around buses loading and unloading our Bulldogs around the area, slow down in school traffic zones, and be attentive on the streets surrounding our campuses for students who may be walking so we can keep all of our students safe and ready to learn.
We canāt wait to see our Bulldogs back on campuses tomorrow!

The Carthage Administration, High School and Field House is currently experiencing disturbance in its phone line service. Technology and AT&T are working to restore full power as soon as possible.

The federal government funding that provided free breakfast and lunch to all students during the COVID-19 pandemic expired on the last day of the 2021-22 school year.
This means that school meals will no longer automatically be free for every student.
Carthage ISD students will need to complete an application form with their registration paperwork to determine whether they will qualify for free or reduced meals for this school year.

This community makes the safety and security of our students and staff the top priority. We are so thankful to have this great group of district staff, law enforcement partners, first responders, and community leaders working together to keep our Bulldogs safe!

Terry Caudle retired in June from the Technology Department at Carthage ISD after 24 years of service to the district. The district has been blessed by Terry Caudle's service for more than two decades, and celebrated his retirement today.
