Carthage ISD is excited to introduce a brand-new summer learning opportunity for students entering Grades 3–5 with the launch of STEM Quest: Operation Innovation, part of the SCI STEM Career Immersion Camp experience at Libby Elementary.

Designed to inspire curiosity, creativity, and hands-on discovery, STEM Quest gives students the opportunity to explore the exciting world of science, technology, engineering, and math through engaging activities and real-world challenges.

Throughout the week, student innovators will participate in a variety of interactive experiences including:

Building and testing engineering challenges

Coding with Micro:bit technology and exploring simple AI concepts

Experimenting with water, bubbles, and magnets

Designing chain-reaction machines

Exploring ecosystems and invasive species

Creating fiber-optic constellations

Students will also participate in a special STEM Showcase at the end of the week to highlight what they learned and created throughout camp.

The camp will be offered during two separate weeks:

June 8–12

or

June 15–19

Camp hours are 8:30 AM to 3:00 PM each day

STEM Quest: Operation Innovation is designed to make learning exciting, creative, and memorable while helping students build problem-solving, teamwork, and innovation skills that extend far beyond the classroom.
