Carthage ISD has officially released the 2026 Carthage Bulldogs varsity football schedule, setting the stage for another exciting fall season.
The upcoming schedule features a strong mix of non-district competition and a challenging district slate, with games both at home and on the road. The Bulldogs will open the year with a preseason scrimmage before beginning regular season play on August 28.
District competition will begin in October and run through early November, leading into the postseason.

Aug. 13 – vs Mesquite, 7:00 p.m. (Scrimmage)
Aug. 28 – at Henderson, 7:30 p.m.
Sept. 4 – vs Pine Tree, 7:30 p.m.
Sept. 11 – Open
Sept. 18 – vs Legacy School of Sports Sciences (Spring, TX), 7:30 p.m. (Homecoming)
Sept. 25 – at West Orange-Stark, 7:00 p.m.
Oct. 2 – Open
District Play Begins
Oct. 9 – at Pittsburg, 7:00 p.m.
Oct. 16 – at Spring Hill, 7:00 p.m.
Oct. 23 – vs Pleasant Grove, 7:00 p.m.
Oct. 30 – at Gilmer, 7:00 p.m.
Nov. 6 – vs Center, 7:00 p.m. (Senior Night)
