Madison Harris, Libby Elementary Paraprofessional of the Year

Carthage ISD is proud to recognize Madison Harris as Libby Elementary’s Paraprofessional of the Year.

A proud Carthage High School graduate, Harris is in her first year serving as a Life Skills Paraprofessional at Libby Elementary, and she has already made a meaningful impact on students and staff through her caring heart, strong work ethic, and dedication to helping children succeed.

Harris attended Panola College, where she earned both her Associate of Science and Associate of Arts in Teaching. She is currently continuing her education at Stephen F. Austin State University, where she is working toward a Bachelor of Science with a concentration in Core Subjects for Early Childhood through 6th grade.

She said her passion for working with children is what led her to education and made this opportunity at Libby Elementary an easy choice.

ā€œI have always had a passion for working with kids and when this opportunity arose, I knew I had to take it,ā€ Harris said. ā€œI enjoy being part of a team that works so well together. I love being a part of Libby Elementary!ā€

Libby Elementary Principal Mrs. Staci Davis praised Harris for the positive difference she has made in a short amount of time.

ā€œMs. Madison Harris has made an impressive impact in her very first year at Libby Elementary,ā€ Davis said. ā€œHer patience, kindness, and strong work ethic shine through in everything she does. She is truly deserving of this honor, and I have no doubt she will be a rock star teacher one day!ā€

Harris’ recognition as Libby Elementary Paraprofessional of the Year reflects the important role paraprofessionals play in supporting students, encouraging growth, and helping campuses thrive each day. As a Carthage alum now giving back to her hometown, she represents the heart of Carthage ISD and its commitment to investing in students at every level.

Carthage ISD congratulates Madison Harris on this well-deserved honor and thanks her for the difference she is making each day at Libby Elementary.
