Some of the most impactful people on a campus are not always the ones in front of the classroom, but they are the ones who keep everything running, support every student, and make sure nothing falls through the cracks.
Rachel Pace is one of those people.
Carthage ISD is proud to recognize Rachel Pace as the Carthage Junior High Paraprofessional of the Year, honoring six years of dedicated service to students, staff, and the entire campus.
At Carthage Junior High, Rachel Pace wears many hats. She serves as registrar, PEIMS coordinator, secretary to the assistant principal, and a key part of student services. Each of those roles comes with responsibility, precision, and trust. Together, they form the backbone of daily campus operations.
And she handles it all.
From enrollment and records to supporting campus leadership and helping students navigate important transitions, Mrs. Pace plays a vital role in making sure everything behind the scenes runs smoothly. Her work ensures that students are where they need to be, that information is accurate, and that the campus stays organized and focused on what matters most.
That kind of work does not always get the spotlight, but it is essential.
It takes attention to detail. It takes patience. It takes someone who is dependable, steady, and always willing to step in and help.
Rachel Pace brings that every single day.
In her six years at Carthage Junior High, she has built a reputation for being someone others can count on. She supports teachers, administrators, and most importantly, students. Whether it is helping a student get what they need, assisting a parent, or making sure campus systems are running as they should, she approaches every task with care and professionalism.
Her impact is felt across the entire campus.
That is the power of public education.
It is not just what happens in the classroom. It is the people behind the scenes who make it all possible.
Wade Watson, CJH principal said, "Rachel is someone we rely on every day. She handles a lot of responsibility and does it the right way. From working with students and parents to keeping things organized behind the scenes, sheās a big part of what makes our campus run."
Carthage ISD is proud to celebrate Rachel Pace as Carthage Junior High Paraprofessional of the Year and grateful for the commitment, reliability, and heart she brings to our students and our school every single day.
