Carthage High School Technology Student Association (TSA) students delivered an outstanding performance at the Texas TSA State Conference in Fort Worth, Texas, April 9ā11, 2026, earning multiple top finishes, a scholarship honor, and national qualification in a premier team event. With many students competing in TSA for the first time and several taking on new events this year, these results reflect tremendous growth, courage, and hard work.
Chapter Team Places 3rd and Qualifies for Nationals
Carthageās Chapter Team earned an impressive 3rd place at State, securing National Qualifier status. This event highlights leadership, planning, teamwork, and strong presentation skills, and the groupās success is a major milestone for the program.

Board Game Design Earns 7th Place
Carthage also earned a strong 7th-place finish in Board Game Design, where students are challenged to create a complete, original board game and present it professionally.

Top 12 Finishes in Fashion Design and Childrenās Stories
Carthage students rounded out an exceptional weekend with Top 12 finishes in two additional competitive events, demonstrating creativity, communication, and design excellence.

Scholarship Awarded by Texas TSA
Adding to the celebration, Averey Williams was awarded a CTAT scholarship by Texas TSA, recognizing academic promise and achievement.
A Standout Year for Growth and First-Time Competitors
This yearās results are especially meaningful because most of the students who attended the conference had never participated in TSA events before and/or competed in new events this year. Their willingness to step up, learn quickly, and perform at a high level speaks volumes about their work ethic and the strength of Carthage High Schoolās student leaders.
Carthage High School is proud of every student who represented the Bulldogs on the state stage. Congratulations to all of our TSA competitors, and a special recognition to our national qualifiers.
