Carthage High sophomore Jett Surratt was named the Dave Campbell’s Texas Football 4A Quarterback of the Week for Week 9.
Surratt threw for 414 yards and six touchdowns with no interceptions in Carthage’s 72-27 victory over Center last week.
The sophomore completed 16 of his 21 pass attempts and currently leads all East Texas quarterbacks in both passing yards (2,640) and touchdowns (31) heading into the Bulldogs’ regular season finale against Van.
