Congratulations Austin Hall, Supervisor of Transportation Services

Carthage ISD is pleased to announce that Austin Hall has been selected as the new Supervisor of Transportation Services. Austin brings a wealth of experience and qualifications to this position and is extremely excited about getting started in the new role this summer.

Hall holds a Bachelor of Arts in History from Ouachita Baptist University and a Master of Education in Education Administration from Lamar University. His educational background has provided him with a solid foundation in leadership and management principles, which will undoubtedly contribute to his success in this role.

Austin has served as a coach in Carthage ISD since 2020. Prior to joining the Bulldog family, he served as the Head Baseball Coach in New Caney ISD. His experience as a coach has equipped him with valuable skills in organization, team building and effective communication.

In addition, Austin has a number of years of transportation coordination experience as the athletics transportation coordinator and as a driver for Lone Star Coaches in Longview. He currently holds a Class B Commercial Driver’s License (CDL) with endorsements for passenger, air brakes, and school bus operations.

“I am honored to be selected to serve in this position for Carthage ISD,” said Hall. “I’ve always had a love for the logistics of transportation, and my work experiences in the last several years have just enhanced that love. I’m looking forward to being part of a great team who puts our students first in everything they do!”

Hall is a native of Marshall, having graduated from Marshall High School in 2006. He and his wife, Abby, have twin children, Maely and Matthan who will start Pre-K at Carthage Primary this fall.

Hall replaces Scott Lee, who is retiring this summer.
