🐾🏈 BIG HONOR FOR DAWG NATION! 🏈🐾 Carthage linebacker Qui Beck has been named the Week 5 Class 4A Built Ford Tough Player of the Week! 🔥💪 Beck — a Texas A&M verbal pledge and last year’s Defensive MVP in the Class 4A Division II state title game — turned in a dominant performance in the Dawgs’ 42-0 win over Jasper. In just over a quarter of play, the senior linebacker racked up 11 tackles, a sack, a forced fumble, and a fumble recovery that he returned for a touchdown. So far this season, despite spending much of the second half of games on the sideline due to big Dawg leads, Beck has still totaled 30 tackles, 3 tackles for loss, 5 QB pressures, 3 pass breakups, 2 fumble recoveries and a sack — showing why he’s one of the state’s elite defenders. 📺 TONIGHT at 10:30 PM Beck will be featured on the Built Ford Tough Player of the Week Show — and we want to fill the virtual stands with Dawg Nation support!
