At the September 21 Board Meeting

In the Carthage ISD School Board meeting on September 21, the following items were deliberated:

  • The board approved a memorandum of understanding with Gallagher Construction

  • The board approved the board training calendar

  • The board approved the district Asynchronous Learning Plan

  • The board reviewed progress toward CISD Academic Goal.  The district has already reached its goal for CCMR (College, Career,  and Military Readiness)

  • The board heard updates regarding the CISD Academic Instructional Program and COVID Response Plan

  • The board approved  the TASB Local Policy Update 115

  • The board received Team of 8 Training with Dr. Russell Marshall

  • The board approved new hires for contractual employees

    • Grace Garrett

The next regularly scheduled board meeting will be on Monday, October 19, 2020 at 6 p.m.
