Bulldogs will play against Palestine Thursday, on January 28, in the CJHS Gym at 5:00 P.M.

Seventh grade Lady Dawgs will play in Palestine on Thursday, January 28. The games will start at 5:00 P.M. Eighth-grade girls' basketball games are canceled.

🐾 Cheer Tryouts for the upcoming 9th grade students 🐾 You must be signed up by 3 pm on January 29th and attend a mandatory parent meeting on February 3 at 5:45 to be eligible to try out. The meeting will be held on February 3 At CHS in the PLC At 5:45pm At least one parent must attend.

Lady Dawgs will play in Hudson, Thursday January 14, The games will start at 5:00 P.M, in the main High School gym.

Bulldogs will play against Hudson Thursday on January 14 in the CJHS Gym at 4:30.

January is School Board Appreciation Month. During this time of challenges, our school board members have worked tirelessly to help our district establish new ways of ensuring students continue to learn. We hope you join us in saluting our hard-working board members for their support of our students, staff, and community.

CISD will start school Tuesday, Jan. 12, with a 2 hour delay. Buses will also run 2 hours later. Junior High will begin school at 9:50 AM!

All classes are canceled Monday, January 11! Stay safe and enjoy the time with family.

The first period class, with the most donated soup items, will be awarded a breakfast party!

**A few reminders as we welcome back students for the second semester... If you have tested positive for COVID-19 within the last ten days OR have been in close contact with a confirmed COVID-19 individual, please DO NOT return to school. Please first contact Dr. Porter at dporter@carthageisd.org or Amanda Deason at adeason@carthageisd.org. We will then let you know your return date. Please continue to monitor yourself for symptoms and DO NOT come to school if you have any of the following: Feeling feverish or have a temperature of 100.00 degrees or higher Loss of taste or smell Coughing Difficulty breathing/shortness of breath Nausea or vomiting Diarrhea Significant muscle pain or ache Congestion or runny nose Sore throat Headache Fatigue Chills Shaking or exaggerated shivering All students should continue to prescreen each day before coming to school and remain off-campus if they are experiencing any of the symptoms listed above.
