🚧The Department of Transportation is closing the road in front of The Junior High starting Tuesday, 1/18/22, from 8:30 am to 2:30 pm. It will not affect car rider traffic in the mornings and the afternoons. ⚠️If you come to the school from 8:30 am to 2:30 pm, park at the Masonic lodge and walk to the front office. ⚠️If you have any questions, please call 903-693-2751. 🚧This part of the road construction should take 2 to 3 weeks. Thank you for your patience and understanding.

Girls Athletics fundraiser! There has been a delay with the sample Deluxe Blanket getting to each campus. Hopefully, we will get those in soon. The order forms will be due December 1.

Mrs. Pitts Art students are learning Pointillism. Painting with dots using only q-tips and paint.

Girls Athletic fundraiser information will be going home this week with students! This fundraiser will run until November 19.

Lady Dawgs play against Jasper on Wednesday, November 10. The games will start at 5:00 in the CJHS gym.

It's cold outside! Help gather coats for kids in our Community! We will be scheduling a distribution day, and these will be available for ALL area youth!

Upcoming CJHS Girls Athletics fundraiser! Deluxe Blanket: 60”x80” Double-Sided, ultra-soft, and weighs approx. 4.4 lbs.

Reminder on Thursday, November 4, Aurora Concepts will be on CISD campuses to give flu shots and immunizations.

The Axillary and Cheerleaders will be at the Halloween Kids and Treats Event at the High School from 5:30- 8 pm.

Casey Abernathy with Communities in Schools and Katherine Nava with the East Texas Council on Alcohol and Drug Abuse spoke to our students. They provided education regarding substance abuse for Red Ribbon Week.

Don't miss the CJHS Band Fall Concert! Tuesday, October 19 in the PAC at Carthage High School. The concert will start at 6 pm.

CJHS wants to show our LOVE, PRIDE, and SPIRIT for the Carthage Bulldogs on Friday, October 15, for HOMECOMING! Wear Red and White to show Bulldog Spirit!! Students may wear mums and garters on Friday, October 15, but please tape all bells and noisemakers!!

Home game and Pep Rally on Thursday, October 14. 🐾🏈 The pep rally starts at 2:50 in the Main Gym. Please, park on Davis Street and use the front entrance to the gym. Please, do not park on the bus ramp. The game will start at 5:30 at the Bulldog Stadium.
