Ms. McDaniel and Ms. Rittenberry's class earned a special treat for reaching a goal of 10 compliments from other teachers for showing the “Libby Way” outside our classroom.

January Star Students
Libby Elementary would like to recognize January’s Star Students!
Jyxon Bertram, is a second-grader and the son of Rusty and Tiffany Bertram. His favorite school subject is Math. Jyxon’s hobbies include playing Fortnite, basketball and Sketch. He also enjoys going to the park.
Aspyn Martin, is a second-grader and the daughter of John and LeAnne Martin. Her favorite school subject is Science. Aspyn’s hobbies include gymnastics, softball and playing roblox.
Mallory Williams, is a second-grader and the daughter of Jonathon Williams and Jeania LaGrone. Her favorite school subject is Science. Mallory is a phenomenal student who always follows The Libby Way. Her teacher says she gives 100% on everything she does, is kind to others and always has a positive attitude. She enjoys playing outside, hanging out with friends, reading, and shopping.
Miles Sparks, is a second-grader and the son of Matt & Abby Sparks. His favorite school subject is Math. Miles works hard at everything he does and he always, always has a smile for everyone. His hobbies include fishing, riding four-wheelers, and all sports. He also enjoys spending time with family and friends and watching football.
Matilda Sparks, is a second-grader and the son of Matt and Abby Sparks. Her favorite school subjects are Music and Math. According to Matilda's teacher, she is the perfect example of a STAR student! She is always doing just what she is supposed to be doing. Matilda is a wonderful friend who is alway ready to help anyone including her teacher. Matilda’s hobbies include gymnastics, basketball and all things outdoors. She also enjoys watching her brothers play sports and spending time with family and friends.
AJ Luna, is a third-grader and the son of Ivan Luna and Neyba Medina. His favorite subject is Math. AJ is helpful, works with others and is very polite. When AJ is not in school he enjoys playing basketball, football and fortnite. He loves spending time with his family and his bulldogs Choncho and Twixie.
Ellen Mayfield, is a third-grader and the daughter of Jay and Natalie Mayfield. Her favorite school subjects are Math and Music. Ellen is an exceptional student! She is a very generous student and a great friend to everyone she’s around. Ellen’s hobbies include track, tumble and 4-H.
Kendal Abernathy, is a third-grader and the daughter of Keith and Casey Abernathy. Her favorite school subject is Math. Kendal enjoys drawing, playing softball and gymnastics.
Ramiro Ponce Carbajal, is a third-grader and the son of Victor Ponce and Maricel Carbajal. His favorite school subject is Reading. Ramiro’s teacher says he is the very definition of a STAR student. He displays perfect citizenship, behavior, and work ethics. She can always count on him to do what he’s supposed to do. Ramiro’s hobbies include playing soccer, basketball and video games. He also enjoys going to the park and playing with his dog.
Jonas Larson, is a third-grader and the son of Bradley and Amy Larson. His favorite school subject is Math. When Jonas is not in school he enjoys creating things, playing football and playing with friends.

February 7-11 is National School Counselors Week. The theme for this year is School Counseling: Better Together. I think we can all agree that now, more than ever, our counselors are critical to the academic and social success of our students
