Upside-down Peach Pie

Preheat oven to 350.
 
Melt 1 stk of butter or oleo in  9x12 baking dish while oven preheats.
Combine 1c. flour, 1c. sugar, 1tsp. salt, 2Tblsp. of baking powder.
Add 1c. milk to the dry ingredients. Stir well and pour over the melted butter.
Put one can of sliced peaches on top of the batter and pour the juice over the entire pie.

Bake at 350 until brown and set in the middle.
 
 
I doubled the recipe and used one stick of oleo and one stick of real butter.......You choose!
It is great served hot with vanilla ice cream!
