Sopapillas Cheesecake

2 cans of Pillsbury Crescent rolls
1 stick real butter
3 boxes cream cheese (8oz)

2 cup of sugar
cinnamon  

Open one can of crescent rolls and carefully unroll, being careful not to mash down or pull apart. Spread the unattached rolls in the bottom of the Pyrex dish (9x13). Mix the cream cheese and 1 1/2 cups of sugar until creamy.   Spread over the crescent rolls.   Lay the other can of crescent rolls on top of the cream cheese mixture.   Melt one stick of butter in the microwave and pour over the top. Sprinkle the other 1/2 cup of sugar and cinnamon (to taste) over the melted butter.

 Bake at  350* until golden brown on top. (about 30 minutes)
