Mr. Mike Basso, Manager of the Syracuse Sky Chiefs

Mrs. Hooker's 8th grade Career Investigations classes were awarded funding by East Texas Tech Prep Consortium for a career speaker. Mr. Mike Basso was our guest speaker. He is the manager of the Syracuse Sky Chiefs, a AAA minor league team of the Toronto Blue Jays located in Syracuse, New York. The presentation involved the students learning how to prepare a budget based on minimum wage and how they really want to live as adults.
