So what is Twinkie Day Anyway?

Here's a little note from Mrs. Audrey Almeida:

Dear Parents,

We would like to congratulate our Baker Koonce students for earning

over 20,000 Accelerated Reader points this school year.

We have had an awesome year of reading fiction as well as nonfiction books.

We are extremely pleased with the progress the students have made,

and they will be rewarded with a Twinkie Day of Thursday, May 15th.

On Twinkie Day, the students will be encouraged to

dress alike so that they look like "twins".

It can be a pair or a group of students.  Some suggestions for Twinkie Day include

wearing the same jerseys, camouflage, matching colors, hats, and shades.

All students are still expected to follow our student dress code.

We are excited about celebrating our students' successful year of reading.
